1. Courses Cancellation Policy
✔️ Deposit is non-refundable unless cancelled within 14 days.
✔️ Courses may be refunded in case of a medical emergency — proof is required for eligibility.
✔️ Remaining payment must be transferred at least 2 weeks before the course start date.
✔️ If payment is late, lessons will be rescheduled and booked slots may be lost.
✅ Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling Rules):
✔️ If lessons are booked online, by phone, or away from premises, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
✔️ During this period, you may cancel your booking and receive a full refund, including deposits.
✔️ If lessons begin within the 14-day period, written consent is required to waive full refund rights. Refunds will then cover only unused lessons (minus those already provided and admin fees).
✅ Refunds After 14 Days:
✔️ Deposits remain non-refundable.
✔️ Lessons already delivered will be charged at the standard single-lesson rate (not discounted block rate).
✔️ Refunds for unused lessons will be processed within 14–20 working days, minus admin fees.
✅ Additional Consumer Rights Protections:
✔️ Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, terms must be fair and transparent.
✔️ If the school cancels your lesson, your deposit will be refunded.
2. Make Your Payment for Remaining Course

3. Car Fee for the Test Day (Recommended: 3 Hours)
✔️ Recommended schedule: 1.5 hours practice before the test, 45 minutes for the test, and time for drop-off afterward.
✔️ Total recommended: 3 hours (pickup, practice, test centre arrival, driving test, drop-off).
✅ Refund Notice (Car Fee):
✔️ Car usage fee refunds require 7 days’ notice.
4. Test Rescheduling
✔️ A £50 rescheduling fee applies.
✔️ New test dates require a 10–12 week wait from the rescheduling date.
✅ Driving Test Bookings:
✔️ If a lesson or test is cancelled because the pupil fails to bring required documents (e.g., provisional licence), is unfit to drive (e.g., under alcohol/drugs), or if the DVSA cancels, the lesson will be charged in full and no refund will be issued.
5. Instructor & Lesson Cancellations
✔️ If less than 24 hours’ notice is given or the pupil fails to attend, the lesson will be charged in full with no refund.
✔️ If the instructor arrives at the pickup location and the pupil chooses not to proceed, the lesson will still be charged in full.
✅ Lesson Cancellations by the Instructor:
✔️ If the instructor cancels (e.g., illness, breakdown), an alternative date will be offered at no extra cost.
✔️ If no suitable alternative is available, the lesson fee will be fully refunded.
✅ Behaviour Towards Instructors:
✔️ Pupils must behave respectfully and follow all safety instructions.
✔️ Abusive, threatening, harassing, or pushy behaviour will result in immediate termination of lessons with no refund.
✔️ Serious incidents may be reported to the police under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 and Public Order Act 1986.
✔️ Lessons may also be terminated without refund if behaviour compromises safety, in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
6. Refund Policy
✔️ No refunds will be issued for missed lessons, late test cancellations, or withdrawals made less than 14 days before the course start.
✅ Fraud & Payment Protection:
✔️ Any attempt to make a false refund claim may constitute an offence under the Fraud Act 2006.
✔️ All payments and refunds are processed in compliance with the Payment Services Regulations 2017.

Ladies First Driving School – Intensive Driving Course Policies
At Ladies First Driving School, our aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment. To ensure fairness, safety, and clarity, all pupils enrolled on an Intensive Driving Course Policies must follow the policies below.
1. Eligibility
✔️ Pupils must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence.
✔️ Pupils should be able to read a car number plate at 20 metres (with glasses/contact lenses if needed).
✔️ Pupils must disclose any relevant medical conditions or disabilities that may affect driving.
2. Course Package
✅ All intensive driving courses include::
A set number of driving hours (e.g. 20, 30, or 40 hours depending on the package chosen).
Once your booking has been confirmed, your allocated instructor will contact you within 5 working days to arrange and confirm your lesson schedule. Pupils must read and agree to the Terms & Conditions before starting the course.
3. Bookings & Payments
✔️ A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your course.
✔️Full payment must be made at least 14 days before the course start date.
✔️Deposits and course fees are non-refundable once the course has commenced.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
✔️ 50% refund if cancellation is made 4 weeks or more before the course start date.
✔️ No refund will be issued if: The course has started, or Cancellation is made with less than 4 weeks’ notice.
✔️ If the instructor cancels due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, vehicle issues), lessons will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
5. Lesson Structure
✔️ Intensive courses are structured to provide multiple hours of driving each day.
✔️ Pupils are expected to attend all scheduled lessons promptly.
✔️ Breaks will be included in longer sessions for safety and concentration.
6. Pupil Responsibilities
✔️ Pupils must arrive on time and fit to drive. Arriving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving will result in cancellation with no refund.
✔️ Any abusive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the course without refund.
7. Instructor Responsibilities
✔️All lessons will be conducted by a DVSA-approved driving instructor.
✔️ Vehicles will be fully insured, roadworthy, and fitted with dual controls for safety.
✔️ Instructors will provide honest feedback and guidance to help pupils become safe and confident drivers.
8. Refund Policy – Explanation
✅ Our refund terms are designed to be fair and transparent:

✔️ Instructor Allocation – Intensive courses require instructors to block out large sections of their diary (often a month or more). Once allocated, this time cannot easily be replaced.
✔️ Time & Planning – Intensive schedules take considerable time to arrange. Cancelling disrupts this planning and results in lost availability that cannot be reassigned.
✅ Legal Compliance
This policy is fully compliant with UK Consumer Law (Consumer Rights Act 2015 & Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013):
✔️ Driving lessons are classed as a service.
✔️ This is permitted in law, as businesses may withhold refunds once a service has been provided in part or in full.
9. Liability
✔️ We are not liable for any loss of earnings, travel costs, or other expenses due to lesson or test cancellations beyond our control.

Our intensive driving course is designed to help learners gain confidence and pass their driving test in a shorter time frame than traditional weekly lessons. Whether you are a complete beginner or need a refresher before your test, the course provides focused, structured training tailored to your experience level.
✅ You will receive one-to-one tuition from a qualified driving instructor, covering all essential driving skills including:

✔️ Junctions, roundabouts, and dual carriageways.
✔️ Manoeuvres and parking techniques.

New UK Law for Practical Driving Tests (2026)
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has introduced new rules for practical driving test bookings in 2026 to reduce waiting times and stop misuse of the booking system.
✅ Key Changes:
Only the learner driver can book a practical driving test.
From 12 May 2026, driving instructors, agents, or third-party apps can no longer book tests on behalf of learners. Only the learner can manage or change the booking.
Learners must personally change, swap, or cancel their own driving test appointments.
Maximum of 2 test changes allowed. Since 31 March 2026, learners can only change their practical test booking twice.
Restrictions on changing test centres.
From 9 June 2026, learners can only move their booking to one of the 3 nearest test centres. Identity confirmation required.
Learners must confirm they are the person taking the test and agree to new DVSA terms and conditions during booking.
Why the New Rules Were Introduced?
